Mother Humpback Whale and calf frolicking
I got to spend a half an hour watching a mother humpback whale teaching her calf all the "sassy" tricks a young whale needs to know for the tourist trade in the waters off Maui, Hawaii earlier this week!
I love this last photo! Looks like the youngster hasn't quite figured out how to come out of the water and keep himself/herself straight for the backwards fall into the water. Love it! Thanks for sharing, Eric.

I loved all the pictures. This is the specialty of the Humpback whale.Coming in and out of the water is what attracts many.
